Our kids came to us at ages 8 months, 2 years, 6 years, 13 & 14 years old. They now range in age from 8 to 21.
They all face various challenges... attachment disorder, HIV, developmental delays, learning disabilities, anxiety disorder, severe ADHD, the ESL struggle of learning a new language as a teenager... but the rewards definitely outweigh the challenges. (on most days)
